AUDITIONS FOR FALL 2009
August 20-23, 2009

General Auditions:
Thursday, Aug 20, 5:00-6:30 and 7:30-10:00
For returning students only

Friday, Aug 21, 4:00-6:00 AND 7:00-10:00
For new and transfer students only

Callbacks:
Saturday and Sunday, Aug 22, 23, times Sat: 9-1, 2-6, 7-11, Sun: 12-4. Various locations.
Casting posted by Monday morning, Aug 24.

Productions being cast:
Our Lady of 121st Street, directed by Kristin Kundert Gibbs
Grapes of Wrath, directed by George Contini
Eurydice, guest director Heidi Cline

Preparation for General Auditions:
Two contrasting monologues not to exceed a combined total of three minutes. You will be timed and stopped at three minutes.

Callbacks may consist of reading from the scripts, dance auditions and further singing, improvisations/games, etc. Please prepare yourself adequately by reading the plays which are available at the Drama office on a sign-out basis.

A sign up sheet will be posted on the callboard opposite the vending machines in the basement floor of the Fine Arts Building (corner of Lumpkin and Baldwin Streets).

Rose of Athens Theatre
*Season Auditions for Rose of Athens Theatre*

When: Monday, August 31st from 6-8pm

Where: Rm 201 at UGA Drama and Film Studies building on Baldwin and Lumpkin.

How: Sign up for your 5 minute slot by calling 706-340-9181

What to Prepare: One or Two monologues 1-2 minutes, max. May bring a song, if you provide accompaniment

Improv Athens
These are going to be next Thrusday (8/27) somewhere in the Fine Arts Building.
